Let It Fly Sports Bar opened in Sioux Falls in July of 2021 on the corner of 57th Street and Western.

One of the best features of Let It Fly is the large patio space, which is perfect for enjoying a meal and a beer while watching the game.
“Our patio is the most amazing experience to sit and watch sports, have drinks, feel the breeze, but be covered or under the sun if you want to be,” said general manager Mandie Wendt. “We’re thinking Monday through Friday anytime the weather is good we’ll have live music.”
With over 20 beers on tap, the bar also has over 80 TVs to catch your favorite team.
“Literally everywhere you look there’s a tv for any kind of sport—we have it all,” explained Wendt.
That same variety extends to the menu, which has a wide array of dishes to choose from.

Start off with an appetizer like Fried Green Tomatoes, “Skinny” Sliders, Let It Fly Nachos, or even Gator Rolls made with alligator meat.
“We have something for everybody from our amazing Char-Buffed Wings to our Surf & Turf,” said Wendt. “We have amazing food here.”
Choose from 12 different sauces or four dry rub options for your traditional or boneless wings.
“You get the feel that you’re in a fancier restaurant while you watch the games & enjoy the patio and people watch.” – Mandie Wendt
On the higher end, the Surf & Turf is a 6-ounce sirloin and six shrimp seared in garlic butter with veggies and mashed potatoes.
“The pizza and the burgers are great, but we also have something for people who want something a little higher end like sirloin and walleye,” said Wendt.
Try one of seven flavors or make your own pizza or flatbread.

The half-pound burger lineup offers a handful of options from the LIF Mushroom & Swiss to the BBQ Pork. Each burger is served with your choice of side.
“The Monte Cristo is a really popular item that came on our feature menu,” said Wendt, noting that the dish received a lot of love from guests. “We moved it to our full menu.”
The sandwich is one the only ones like it in Sioux Falls with turkey, ham, and American cheese. After being deep fried, it’s sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with raspberry preserves for the classic sweet and savory combo.

“Even our Let It Fly Margarita is top notch,” said Wendt. “That is served on the rocks with Teremana Blanco Tequila and a Grand Marnier float on it.”
Don’t leave without trying something from the dessert selection.
“The reason people love patios is that they feel included with everything outside. There’s the beautiful water with the fountain. The way they keep up the landscaping is beautiful. You get a little bit of everything out there.” – Mandie Wendt
“We have a bunch of really great desserts, and our Fresh Berries Cheesecake is phenomenal,” said Wendt.
The cheesecake is topped with a fruit drizzle and fresh raspberries and blueberries and served alongside whipped cream.
