When Teresa Hart began her career as a financial advisor, she always knew she wanted to open her own practice, and in 2013, she opened Hart Financial Group.

“Whether you are investing in building your wealth, preserving your assets, or using insurance to protect your family, our personalized services focus on your needs, wants, and long-term goals,” said Hart.

Hart and her team work to help clients identify personal finance strategies that may improve their lifestyle and provide a foundation for a sound retirement.

“Through the years, I’ve been able to add financial planning services along with many other investment options for my clients,” said Hart.

Since opening her practice, Hart says that she has been able to expand her team and add a second financial advisor who runs her own practice in North Dakota.

Learn more about Hart’s holiday traditions, her go-to spots in Mitchell, her love for pickleball, and more.

Five Fun Facts

1. I have five pets – three dogs and two cats.

2. I have three children, ages 23, 17, and 11.

3. When I was 14, my twin sister and I took over our older brother’s garbage-hauling business.

4. My twin sister is four minutes older than me and jokes that I was the leftovers. I always tell her Mom saved the best for last.
5. I was Miss Huron in 1992, and in that same year I was in the Miss South Dakota Pageant. Because of that honor, I was able to meet Garth Brooks at the South Dakota State Fair.

“Our mission is simple: to learn more about you, and understand your needs, wants, and goals.” – teresa Hart
