Check out the cozy and swanky Carpenter Bar in downtown Sioux Falls. Relax on their patio and sip on local beers, craft cocktails, or their fine (and reasonably priced) wine selection starting at 3 p.m. every day (now open 4 p.m. on Sundays). 605 had the pleasure of getting two cocktail recipes from co-owner Brian White that you can try at home.

Cucumber Gimlet

Ingredients:

1.5 oz. Plymouth Gin

.75 oz. fresh lime juice

.75 oz. simple syrup

Cucumber

Ice

Directions:

Muddle with 3-4 cucumber slices.

Strain over fresh ice.

Garnish with cucumber slice(s).

Humming Bird

Ingredients:

1 oz. St-Germain Liqueur

3 oz. prosecco

Club soda

Lemon

Directions:

Mix St-Germain Liqueur and prosecco in a building glass.

Top off with club soda.

Garnish with a lemon twist.
