Riverboat Days: What You Need To Know

Celebrate this weekend at Yankton’s 35th Annual Riverboat Days August 17-19. A lot of the events take place at Riverside Park, right next to the heart and soul of the town– the Missouri River.

The three-day event draws in at least 100,000 people every year for the family fun activities and entertainment.

Kasi Haberman, the director of the Yankton Convention and Visitors Bureau, has provided five things visitors should know. 

1. Free and Affordable fun for the whole family, like the carnival, bounce houses, a zip line, and more (including main stage bands on Friday and Saturday).
2. Parade with over 135 entries.
3. Fireworks along the Missouri River
4. 140 Art and Craft Vendors
5. Extreme Bull Riding
