ELF THE MUSICAL

CHRISTMAS AT THE CAPITOL
November 21-30. South Dakota State Capitol Building, Pierre. 8 a.m. There is nothing more magical than the State Capitol building during the holidays. With more than 80 Christmas trees decorated in various styles, the halls of this government building become festival lanes for the entire family to enjoy. More info: christmasatthecapitol.sd.gov.
27TH ANNUAL PARADE OF LIGHTS
November 23. Downtown, Sioux Falls. 7:30 p.m. You can’t have a holiday season in Sioux Falls without the Annual Parade of Lights. Gracing the streets of downtown, this parade will include lighted floats and holiday music, offering the perfect start to your holiday season. More info: dtsf.com.
HOLIDAY CELEBRATION & WINTER MARKET
November 24. Main Street Square, Rapid City. 2 p.m. Kick off the season of giving by attending this all-encompassing celebration of small businesses, ice skating, and live music. Main Street Square will also welcome Santa and host the Festival of Lights Parade. More info: mainstreetsquarerc.com.
JINGLE BELL RUN
November 24. Hawick Park, Sioux Falls. 10 a.m. What’s better than Thanksgiving dinner? A themed run two days after! Dress up in your craziest holiday garb, lace up your shoes, and run either the one mile course or the 5k.
