CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA

December 11. Washington Pavilion of Arts & Science, Sioux Falls. 7 p.m. Head downtown for the most festive big band experience around. LAKOTA NATION INVITATIONAL

December 12-15. Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, Rapid City. All day. Open to kids from all over the nation, this event honors the combination of indigenous culture and sports, fine arts, and academics. December 13-16. Washington Pavilion of Arts & Science, Sioux Falls. Times vary. Local performing group, DAPA, is bringing this classic back to stage. Complete with Miss Hannigan, Mr. Warbucks, and the lovable dog Sandy, this show is sure to bring you lots of laughs. More info: washingtonpavilion.org.

SCROOGE OF DEADWOOD

December 14-15. Deadwood 1876 Theater, Deadwood. 5:30 p.m. Comedy meets tragedy in this play about the Scrooge of Deadwood, Al Swearengen.
