PHEASANTS FOREVER BANQUET
March 19. Swiftel Center, Brookings. 7 p.m. Pheasants Forever is a program that combines  a great meal, live auction, and awareness about conservation of local wildlife. This evening will inform attendees about habitat improvements, local policies and land access. More info: swiftelcenter.com.
FRECKLEFACE STRAWBERRY THE MUSICAL
March 21 & 23-24. Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science, Sioux Falls. Times vary. Join Dakota Academy of Performing Arts as Freckleface Strawberry desperately tries to hide her freckles. March 21. Museum of Visual Materials, Sioux Falls. 5:30 p.m. Coming up on its 7th year, this night of fundraising is themed “Against the Odds”. Come down for great food, Remedy beer, and local storytellers. All proceeds with go to REACH, supporting adult literacy and tutoring. More info: reachliteracry.org.
BLUE JEANS AND BLING FUNDRAISER
March 22. Blue Haven Barn and Gardens, Sioux Falls. 6 p.m. Is there anything better than live music, great food, and a good cause? Blue Haven Barn and Gardens is hosting a fundraising night in hopes to bring confidence and independence to the riders of HorsePower. More info: eventbrite.com.
2019 WILLIE MAC HOOPS TOURNAMENT
