605 SUMMER CLASSIC
June 21 – 22. Cherapa Place, Sioux Falls. 5 p.m. and 2 p.m. Head to Downtown Sioux Falls for the 10th Annual 605 Summer Classic, sponsored by 605 Magazine. Enjoy All South Dakota Beer Tasting with breweries like Lost Cabin Beer Co., Buffalo Ridge Brewing, and Fernson Brewing Co. June 22. BronzeAge Art Casting, LLC, Sioux Falls. 8 p.m. Grab your lawn chair and get ready to watch art be created live at an outdoor performance pour. BLACK HILLS MOUNTAIN FEST
June 21 – 23. Various locations, Rapid City. Various times. Get outside and explore the Black Hills at The Black Hills Mountain Fest. With free concerts, single-track and endurance races, and outdoor education seminars, this festival has something for everyone. Proceeds will help fund outdoor education, trail maintenance, and opportunities for youth in Rapid City. More info: bhmtfest.com.
OAHE DAYS
June 20 – 22. Steamboat Park, Pierre. Various times. Head to the capital city for a 3-day art and music fesival, Oahe Days. See Saved by the 90’s to kick off the party on Friday night, and then enjoy a weekend of live music and community celebration. More info: oahedays.com.
BROOKINGS KITE FESTIVAL
June 22 – 23. Fishback Soccer Complex, Brookings. Noon. Let’s go fly a kite! At the Brookings Kite Festival, you can view huge demonstration kites or fly your own, get your face painted, and eat South Dakota State University ice cream.
