DAKOTA DAYS
October 1-5. University of South Dakota, Vermillion. All day. Head to the University of South Dakota to celebrate all things coyote during homecoming week. Check out the parade, the football game, and all of the on and off campus activities leading up to the big day. Go Yotes! More info: usd.edu.
HOBO DAYS
October 1-5. South Dakota State University, Brookings. All day. Make your way to South Dakota State University to celebrate homecoming with all of your favorite jackrabbits. From pep rallies to parties, this week will be full of hobo pride, all leading to a big parade and game. Go Jacks! More info: sdstate.edu.
OCTOBER ART & WINE WALK
October 4. Downtown, Sioux Falls. 5 p.m. Just in case you needed another reason to go to downtown Sioux Falls, they are hosting the October Art & Wine Walk. Join stores like Duluth Trading Company, Bechtold’s Jewelry, and Papa Woody’s Pizza in celebrating local artists of all kinds. Did we mention there will be wine? More info: dtsf.com.
BIERBÖRSE
October 5. Main Street Square, Rapid City. Noon. Ringing in its ninth year, Bierbörse is a festival that celebrates local craft beer, German heritage, and everything in between. 2019 WALKING DEADWOOD ZOMBIE RUN
October 5-6. Country Apple Orchard, Harrisburg. Times vary. Celebrate the 20th year of Harvest Festival by picking apples, pumpkins, and your favorite activity.
