An O.G. of South Dakota swag, Oh Geez! Design has been creating everything from greeting cards, to logos for other companies, to hats and shirts seen all over the state. 605 caught up with owner and designer Becky Tomac to find out the latest this holiday season, including what’s new and must-haves.
What’s new at Oh Geez?
I just got in some new ceramic diner mugs and stickers with my Willie Nelson-inspired design, “Good Mornin’ South Dakota How Are Ya?” I printed my SoDak Sunset design on two different short sleeve tee styles, and I have three new trucker hats featuring this year’s embroidered patch design, “SoDak Sunbeams.”
What are some of your bestsellers?
My SoDak Camp Brown and Tan Trucker has been a great seller for me. It was the first patch and hat that I ever designed and sold. I think people are drawn to the retro design and colors, and it looks great on gals and guys.

What are some things people don’t realize they can purchase at Oh Geez?
I did my first bandana design this year called “Harvest Moon.” It was a fun challenge to work on a pattern for a bandana and doing the layout for what parts of the design would be visible depending on how the bandana was folded. They also make great face coverings.
What December events can shoppers find you at?
I’ll be at several events this holiday season: The Barn at Aspen Acres Pop-Up on Dec. 4, the Pure Bean Winter Emporium on Dec. 12, and Sturgis Coffee Pop-Up on Dec. 19.
