Located in Sioux Falls, Buelow says she works to create custom gift boxes for all kinds of businesses and occasions.

“I take care of everything from sourcing products through small or local businesses, packaging them up professionally, handwriting all of the cards, and shipping or delivering them as needed,” said Buelow.

I STARTED THE COMPANY BECAUSE… everyone needs to know they are loved and appreciated, but as humans, we often have a hard time communicating the love and appreciation to others, especially in the workplace. I strongly believe that when VIPs (clients, employees, co-workers, donors, etc.) are shown love and appreciation, whether it’s through a Wonderfully Made gift, a handwritten card, or a dinner date, it leaves a lasting impression on their hearts.
PEOPLE MIGHT KNOW ME FROM… I was the interior designer at Paul Fick Custom Homes for five years and had the privilege of helping over 400 homeowners design their homes.
OUR IN-STOCK INVENTORY INCLUDES… mugs, hot chocolate, tea, coffee, candles, vials of matches, tea towels, notebooks, pens, bath salts, lotion, and anything that fits in a gift box.
THE BEST PART OF MY JOB IS… no day is the same. I get to flex my creative muscle regularly, come up with new marketing ideas, learn about the psychology of gifting, photograph new gifts, go to networking events, and package up orders.
AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR… Midco approached me asking if I would create their Surprise and Delight gifts. They encourage their employees to submit a gift request anytime they’ve met with a customer and feel he or she could use a gift. I of course said yes to creating these. I love Midco’s heart behind their Surprise and Delight program.
PEOPLE COME TO MY WEBSITE TO FIND… unique and memorable gifts. If it’s a business, they come to find gifts to give their clients, employees, donors, etc. Individuals come to my website to find gifts for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, Christmas, and “just because.” They can also find information in regards to my bulk and business gifting services.
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT PUTTING TOGETHER GIFT BOXES IS… that it combines my design skills and arts and crafts skills. I get to shop for beautiful products, color coordinate box designs, and put beautiful gifts together every day. And it never leaves my mind that each gift will bring a big smile to its recipient’s face.
I’M IN THE BEGINNING STAGES OF… designing mini luxury gifts. With mini gifts, the entire experience will still be there with high-quality packaging and unique gift items, but it will be at a lower price point. I especially want to give start-up companies the option to be able to give an impactful gift to those who are helping grow their business. These gifts will also be perfect as bridal party gifts, favors, or quick pick-me-up gifts.

IN JANUARY, I GOT AN OFFICE SPACE DOWNTOWN… that has been a game changer for my work/life balance. I get to play and bond with my daughter in the mornings. Then when my husband is done with work, I bike to the office and work in the afternoons until supper time.
MY FAVORITE PLACE TO GO FOR INSPIRATION IS… my home. As a designer, I’m constantly seeing different types of design everywhere, and I think it’s all pretty. But I want to stay grounded in my personal style, and my home is 100% my style. Think light and airy French country with coordinated colors, throw pillows from Grandma’s house, some old fashioned accessories, and a come-on-in attitude. I always look to have this style reflected in my gifts.
