For 20 years, Visions Eye Care has provided the Sioux Falls community with everything from comprehensive vision exams, dry eye treatment, and vision therapy to contact lenses, and finding the perfect pair of glasses.

The staff at Visions Eye Care understands that glasses are an extension of someone’s personality.

For many, eyeglasses are more than just a medical necessity—they’re an individual statement. With this understanding, the clinic hosts an in-house shop, the Optical Boutique, boasting hundreds of frames and sunglasses for men, women, and children.

“The Optical Boutique has grown from providing our patients with the best quality, unique eyewear, to now carrying exclusive frame lines that can’t be found anywhere else,” shared business manager Alison Pulford

The boutique’s frame brands range from well-known names like Ray-Ban and Prada, to more exclusive optical brands like Anne & Valentin and Blackfin

Their collection features a wide variety to all customers, shares Pulford—from sleek and modern, to playful and colorful.

“We have a style for everyone,” she added.

The shop specifically caters to all ages, ensuring customers can find the perfect frame, no matter their age or preference.

“We focus on carrying only high-quality frames and using the newest technology in our lenses.”

Finding the perfect pair of glasses can be overwhelming, but Visions Eye Care’s friendly staff says they’re always there to help. The team guides customers through the selection process, taking facial features, personal style, and prescription needs into consideration.

“We strive to see and understand the person behind the prescription,” expressed Pulford. “Our staff goes above and beyond to meet the needs of our patients.”

Visions Eye Care doesn’t compromise on function for fashion, as they offer the latest lens technology to ensure customers not only look great, but see clearly too.

“There’s a difference in where you purchase your glasses,” said Pulford. “The convenience of purchasing online or at a discount chain can be tempting, but prescription accuracy, durability of the lenses, and fit can present potential issues.”

The team of experienced opticians will assess individual requirements and recommend the most suitable frame material or lenses.

“If you don’t love the fit, feel, or vision out of your new glasses, we’ll work with you to make any necessary adjustments until you do,” shared Pulford.

A unique aspect of the Optical Boutique is that anyone can shop their selection of glasses.

“You don’t have to be a patient of ours to shop for glasses,” said Pulford. “We welcome anyone to stop in.”

All that’s required is a current prescription from your designated provider.

No appointment is needed to visit and shop, but the boutique does offer personal styling appointments with an optician. If customers aren’t able to stop into the Optical Boutique, they’re able to browse on Visions Eye Care’s online shopping platform.

“They can pre-shop our frames, choose their favorites, and we’ll have them ready for them to try one when they’re able to stop in,” said Pulford.
