The All My Relatives (Mitakuye Owas’iƞ) Festival hosted by Levitt at the Falls is a vibrant and enriching celebration dedicated to honoring and showcasing Indigenous cultures.
Held annually at the downtown Sioux Falls outdoor performance venue, the event brings together community members of all backgrounds to enjoy a weekend filled with music, dance, art, and storytelling.
“All My Relatives offers a platform for Native artists to share and celebrate their beautiful culture with our broader community, building bridges that promote greater understanding, appreciation, and peace,” said Levitt’s president and CEO Nancy Halverson.
At the heart of the celebration is a creative lineup of performances from local native artists.
The festival kicks off July 26 with live music from opening act Stella Standingbear, followed by pop-rock headliner Kelly Jackson.
The performances don’t end there. On July 27, the morning starts with a family-friendly show featuring hoop dancer Starr Chief Eagle.
In the evening, hip-hop artist Gabriel Night Shield will take the stage followed by a performance from hip-hop artist and dancer, Supaman.
“In addition to the musical acts, festival attendees will enjoy a fashion show Saturday afternoon,” said Halverson.
“The festival’s goal is to showcase the work of Indigenous artists through music, dance, fashion, and visual arts.”

Other activities taking place throughout the day include curated panel discussions, a youth art show, and a community weaving activity located at Rehfeld’s Art & Framing.
In the parking lot between the Levitt Shell and neighboring businesses, Startup Sioux Falls will host a vendor fair featuring the work of Indigenous artists and non-profit organizations.
Attendees can expect to see and purchase an array of handmade products—like paintings, pottery, intricate beadwork, and more—from a variety of booths.
Along with the unique artistic experiences, there will be a dedicated children’s area filled with interactive activities for kids to participate in.
Finally, the Washington Pavilion will be offering free access to the Visual Arts Center for visitors to enjoy the Oscar Howe Legacy Across Four Generations art exhibit.

Halverson shares the partnership between the Wokini Initiative at South Dakota State University, a committee of Indigenous creators, and the musical non-profit has been an important aspect of the All My Relatives Festival.
“Sioux Falls and our surrounding communities are home to many talented artists whose work is rarely shared with our larger community,” added Halverson.
By providing a platform for Indigenous voices and talents, the festival’s efforts help ensure these cultures continue to reach a broader audience, thrive, and be appreciated by future generations.
