Spring has arrived, and Tinners Public House in Sioux Falls is ready to celebrate.

The location on 69th Street has the patio ready, and patrons can watch sports on TVs both inside and out. One of the biggest signs of warm weather is the Tinners waterfall.

“It’s one of the best patios in town, it’s so easy and casual,” said operations manager Vinnie Olson. “The waterfall is a great background for martini drinking.”

For those on the north side of town, Tinners on West 61st Street is also ready for the sunny weather.

Olson describes Tinners as a great neighborhood bar with food well above its casual demeanor. They’ve become well known for their wings and “some of the best chislic” in town.

If you’re wanting to try something new, Olson recommends the Chipotle Maple Salmon Bowl, which is a staff go-to with grilled chipotle and maple salmon, spinach, roasted sweet potato, grilled red onions, rice, fresh guacamole, and lime crème.

When it comes to patio season, shareables are always a hit. Some fan favorites are the Giant Pretzel, Tinners Nachos, Stensland Creamery Cheese Curds, Poutine, and Buffalo Beer Cheese Dip

Weekends at Tinners South include their popular breakfast/brunch menu.

“We’re very proud of our Saturday and Sunday morning breakfast menu,” said Olson. “It has pretty much everything you could want. The newest is the Breakfast Pinwheels with dough, eggs, and bacon rolled up and smothered in sausage gravy.”

Seasonal drinks are coming out, including Shanky’s Espresso Martini, which is a classic espresso-tini with a heavy vanilla flair.

Keep an eye out for monthly food and drink features, which helps the team decide what makes it to the full menu.

Also don’t miss their annual Patio Music Series at the 69th location, which Olson says patrons always look forward to.

“Consistency plays a major role in what we do at Tinners,” said Olson. “We’ve been holding strong as a ‘know-what-you’re-getting’ brand for two decades.”
