CUSTER STATE PARK ANNUAL BUFFALO ROUNDUP
September 28. Custer State Park, Custer. 9:30 a.m. Do not miss one of the biggest roundups of the year, which consists of 1,300+ buffalo. Custer State Park is 71,000 acres of meadows, forests, and copious amounts of buffalo. Free to the public, this event is jaw-dropping and magnificent. More info: gfp.sd.gov.
ENOUGH: A WOMEN'S CONFERENCE
September 28-29. Sioux Falls First, Sioux Falls. Times vary. Join the women of Sioux Falls to celebrate God, family, and all things ladies. Guest speakers include Elise Wood and Sara Dangerfield. SIOUXPERCON
September 28-30. Sioux Falls Convention Center, Sioux Falls. All day. No matter your medium of choice, this fan convention has something for you. Comic books, board games, and video games will be celebrated by special guests like Tony Fleecs and Shea Fontana. More info: siouxpercon.com.
10TH ANNUAL GREAT DOWNTOWN PUMPKIN FESTIVAL
September 29. Main Street Square, Rapid City. 9 a.m. This festival returns for a 10th year at Main Street Square, down 6th street, and into Memorial Park for a day full of fall fun. Events will include pumpkin catapulting, a pumpkin weigh-off, and a downtown pub crawl. More info: mainstreetsquarerc.com.
FOOD TRUCK MASH-UP
