2019 BISHOP'S CUP CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT

August 26. Minnehaha Country Club, Sioux Falls. Noon. Known as one of the area’s premier golf tournaments, you can choose to play in either the Bishop’s Scramble or the Bishop’s Challenge. Either way, grab your three best teammates and make your way to the Minnehaha Country Club to hit a few balls and raise more than a few dollars for the Broom Tree Retreat and Conference Center for the Diocese of Sioux Falls. STURGIS MUSTANG RALLY

August 26 – September 1. Various locations, Sturgis. All day. Already missing Sturgis after the motorcycle rally? Have no fear! The Sturgis Mustang Rally is a one whole week full of a car show, autocross, barrel racing, and so much more. NATURE: A WALKING PLAY

August 29 – September 1. Custer State Park, Custer. Times vary. Take a stroll through Custer State Park with Tigerlion Arts and Black Hills Playhouse to celebrate Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau’s connection to nature. SOUTH DAKOTA STATE FAIR

August 29 – September 2. South Dakota State Fairgrounds, Huron. Times vary. Come attend the 134th Annual South Dakota State Fair. Checkout events like the South Dakota Women’s Expo, Wheel Jam, and the SD BBQ Championship. Live music includes artists like Little Big Town, Brothers Osborne, and the Beach Boys. YANKTON AIR SHOW

August 31 – September 1. Chan Gurney Airport, Yankton. 1 p.m. There will be a number of nationally ranking performances, from Gene Soucy Airshows to Vanguard Squadron. Known as a staple for Yankton summers, this weekend-long airshow will include food trucks, as well as family-friendly fun. More info: yanktonsd.com.
