HAUNTED DEADWOOD

September 25. Days of ’76 Museum, Deadwood. Noon. Known around town as THE ghost people, the Black Hills Paranormal Investigations crew will give a presentation covering all things haunted, from the gear they use to the people (or spirits) they’ve met. More info: deadwoodhistory.com.

BUFFALO ROUNDUP AND ARTS FESTIVAL 54TH ANNIVERSARY

September 26-28. Custer State Park. 9:30 a.m. Join the 1,300 buffalos of South Dakota as they make their way through Custer State Park. There will be two different viewing areas, three different meals, and an entirely new experience with fresh and local art. MAMMA MIA!

September 26-29. Orpheum Theatre Center, Sioux Falls. Times vary. Whether you want to showcase your inner dancing queen or are ready to take a chance, the Sioux Empire Community Theater is ready to take you on a journey through ABBA’s greatest hits. THE GREAT DOWNTOWN PUMPKIN FESTIVAL

September 28. Main Street Square, Rapid City. 9 a.m. Returning for its 11th year, this festival kicks off fall at Main Street Square with a packed schedule of activities. Come see to rounds of pumpkin catapults, a giant pumpkin weigh-off, the Scarecrow Stroll, and more. Check out one of the state’s biggest fall festivals. More info: mainstreetsquarerc.com.

2019 WALKING DEADWOOD ZOMBIE RUN

September 29. Keene Baseball Fields, Deadwood. 1 p.m. You may be brave enough to be a runner, but are you brave enough to run through zombie-infested woods?
