6TH ANNUAL KRAMPUS PUB CRAWL

December 6. Downtown, Rapid City. 8 p.m. Not sure you’re the “nice list” type? Make your way to downtown Rapid City to find your havoc-wreaking comrades. The pub crawl includes places like Wobbly Bobby British Pub and The Brass Rail Lounge, and ends at Firehouse Brewing Company. Participants will receive a T-shirt, while having the chance to win various prizes, listening to music from Walt Keys and Unfinished Business, and enjoying the holiday season. More info: firehousebrewing.com.

HOLIDAZZLE LIGHT PARADE

December 7. Downtown, Spearfish. 6 p.m. The Downtown Business Association is bringing the holiday spirit to Main St. Spearfish. Get warmed up by taking place in the Christmas Stroll, where you can find holiday sales and discounts at businesses along the parade route. More info: visitspearfish.com.

THROUGH THE WOODS DINNER

December 7. The Homestead at Prairie Berry Winery, Hill City. 5 p.m. Bundle up and head to The Homestead for a traditional four-course Christmas dinner. From Pumpkin Bisque to homemade desserts, this old-fashioned meal will warm your holiday hearts. More info: prairieberry.com.

ABERDEEN LIVING CHRISTMAS TREE

December 7-8. Aberdeen Civic Arena, Aberdeen. This unique telling of the Christmas story has been a holiday staple for 31 years and counting. With a free-will donation being the admission, there is no reason not to enjoy this winter spectacular. Times vary. More info: facebook.com.

HOLIDAY EXPRESS

December 7-8. 1880 Train, Hill City. Times vary. Grab your tickets and board the 1880 Train to visit Santa at the North Pole. The one-hour trip will include hot cocoa, a sugar cookie, a holiday story, and of course, Mr. Claus. Upgrade to Holiday Express First Class which allows you to ride in the Hilyo caboose.
