LAKOTA NATION INVITATIONAL 43RD ANNIVERSARY

December 18-21. Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, Rapid City. Times vary. With a particular focus on Native youth, the LNI brings teams from across the country together to honor sportsmanship, dedication, and culture. SORRY! WRONG CHIMNEY!

December 19-22. Olde Towne Dinner Theatre, Worthing. Times vary. Buckle up for a different kind of Christmas tale with Sorry! Wrong Chimney! With sweet David Tuttle trying to get his wife a fur, and sneaky Kris Kreigle breaking and entering, there is no telling what will happen. A FA-LA-LA CABARET

December 19-20. Icon Event Hall + Lounge, Sioux Falls. 8 p.m. Join the Good Night Theatre Collective for some holiday magic. Holiday songs, “cheery surprises,” and so much more will be a great precursor to your holiday celebrations. More info: goodnighttheatre.com.

HOLIDAY EXPRESS

December 21-24. 1880 Train, Hill City. Times vary. Grab your tickets and board the 1880 Train to visit Santaat the North Pole. The one-hour trip will include hot cocoa, a sugar cookie, a holiday story, and of course, Mr. Claus. Upgrade to Holiday Express First Classwhich allows you to ride in the Hilyo caboose. CHANUKAH CELEBRATION AND MENORAH LIGHTING

December 22. The Empire Mall, Sioux Falls. 4:30 p.m. Head to The Empire Mall for the community’s Public Menorah lighting, which will be accompanied by latkes, music, activities, and mingling with community leaders. Celebrate Chanukah with pride, culture, and community. More info: jewishsd.org.
