January 10. Black Hills Community Theatre, Rapid City. 7:30 p.m.
Make your way to the Studio Theater to witness Callie and Sara fall in love, the turmoil that follows, and everything in between. Part of the Play Reading Series, this funny-yet-honest play is one you shouldn’t miss. More info: bhct.org.

RED DIRT FESTIVAL

January 10-11. Deadwood Mountain Grand, Deadwood. All day. Join Aaron Watson and the Casey Donahew Band as they rock the night away at Deadwood Mountain Grand. SOUTH DAKOTA SYMPHONY: DAPHNIS ET CHLOE

January 11. Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science, Sioux Falls. 7:30 p.m. Celebrating the Chinese New Year, conductor Delta David Gier is bringing the music of Zhou Long to life with the South Dakota Symphony.
