1.) 5th Annual Mash Madness  

Downtown | Sioux Falls | All Day | March 5-31

Starting on the Downtown Sioux Falls First Friday, venture downtown to experience the 5th Annual Mash Madness. Fernson Brewing Company, Remedy Brewing Company, Severance Brewing Company, Woodgrain Brewing Company, and Covert Artisan Ales will compete for bragging rights and a traveling trophy. Try each specially made craft beer and cast a vote for your favorite through the Downtown Sioux Falls app. Find out which brewery will come out on top. 


2.) St. Patrick’s Celebration 

Downtown | Deadwood | Times Vary | March 12-13

Suit up in green from head to toe for Deadwood’s St. Patrick’s Celebration at Outlaw Square. On day one, pay a visit to more than 30 locations, and use your PubPort to prove your path during the St. Paddy’s Day PubPort Shuffle. Take your time, but make sure to return to the square for a chance to win $5,000 in prizes and cash. The next day, head to the parade route for the open container St. Paddy’s Day Parade.     


3.) St. Patrick’s Day Celebration 

Downtown | Watertown | 9 A.M. | March 13

Spend some time in the streets of Watertown showing off your St. Patrick’s Day spirit at the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. The parade will begin at noon. Enter a raffle to win prizes such as 1000 Watertown Bucks and a Yeti Tundra cooler with two cases of beer. Or pick up some buttons for the chance to win a fridge filled with beer or any one of the other prizes offered.  


4.) 12th Annual Compass Center Gala

Sioux Falls Convention Center | Sioux Falls | 5:30 P.M. | March 19

Get involved at the 12th Annual Compass Center Gala. Drop in at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, or if you prefer to stay home, log on and participate through Facebook Live or YouTube. If you attend on site, check out the dinner and cash bar, the wine pull, the bourbon pull, games, and the auctions. The gala will support things like expanded telehealth delivery to remote communities, Play Therapy program expansion, parent-child interaction therapy, and the rape crisis hotline.


5.) 2021 Black Hills Home Builders Association Home Show

Rushmore Plaza Civic Center | Rapid City | Times Vary | March 26-28

Join the Black Hills Home Builders Association in “building for the future” at the 2021 Black Hills Home Builders Association Home Show. Stroll through the various booths to find ways to improve your home or just to gain inspiration. The show has been around since 1973, offering important products and information for home building. 


6.) Hill City Community Easter Egg Hunt

Hill City Area Chamber of Commerce | Hill City | 9:30 A.M. | March 27

Gather the kiddos, buckle up, and head to the Hill City Chamber of Commerce for the Hill City Community Easter Egg Hunt. Despite the pandemic, enjoy some quality time with the family, continuing to participate in traditional annual activities that are vital for holidays like Easter.
