1.) 605 Day Party + 605 Magazine Summer Issue Beer Collab Launch

Celebrate 605 Day with the 605 Magazine team from either side of the state with the debut of the 2021 605 Magazine Summer Issue brew. This pale ale is made with local honey and is a collaboration between Fernson Brewing Company and Lost Cabin Beer Co. Enjoy music by Pinnacle Productions and HomeSlice Media Group in the summer sun, munching on food and sipping on your beverage of choice. Don’t miss the chance to win or buy local swag.

2.) Levitt at the Falls Kickoff 

Levitt Shell | Sioux Falls | 6:30 P.M. | June 11

After a year without an in-person season, Levitt at the Falls kicks off its season on June 11. The lawn opens at 6 p.m., allowing access to the night’s drinks and food trucks: Backyard BBQ, The Leaf Grill, and The Lunch Box. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. with opener Groove Inc. before Ranky Tanky takes the stage. This Grammy-winning group plays songs with soul in many genres, including jazz, funk, R&B, and gospel.

3.) Wild Bill Days 2021 

Main Street | Deadwood | Times Vary | June 17-19

Head to Deadwood to celebrate Wild Bill Hickok, one of the most memorable gunslingers of the town. On Main Street, jam to different artists including headliners Ronnie Milsap and Jo Dee Messina. Try your hand at panning for gold, stop by the National Dock Dogs Competition, and tune in for a classic car auction.

4.) Oahe Days Arts & Music Festival

Steamboat Park | Pierre | Times Vary | June 18-19

For some family-friendly fun, load up the vehicle and spend a few days at Steamboat Park at Oahe Days. Give some carnival games your best shot, and get dizzy on a few rides. With options like Happy Zappy Laser Tag, pony rides, Little Players’ Children’s Theater, Bouncy Inflatable Land, and more, there’s something for everyone. Friday, Arch Allies will perform rock music from the likes of Journey, Def Leppard, and Bon Jovi. Headlining the Oahe Days Saturday concert is Parmalee, an increasingly more popular country group.

5.) 605 Summer Classic

Cherapa Place | Sioux Falls | Noon | June 19

Join the 605 team for the 605 Summer Classic, an unlimited, all-South Dakota beer tasting with over 18 breweries. Listen to live music from the Elisabeth Hunstad Trio and DJ Chris Hintz, stroll the vendors, and try your hand at some South Dakota trivia. When your munchies roll around, grab a bite from Harry’s Yellow Submarine or MSP Pretzel. Don’t miss the official after party at Monks Ale House

6.) Main Street Arts & Crafts Festival

Centennial Park | Hot Springs | Times Vary | June 25-27

Check out the local art, handmade crafts, food, and music of Hot Springs at the Main Street Arts & Crafts Festival. Explore everything from woodworkers to jewelers to candlemakers to entertainers and more. Performing at the Main Stage Pavilion will be local musicians Allen and Jill, Rupert Wates, and Carol Markstrom. And the kids can spend time in the Children’s Tent or exploring their inner artists at the Sidewalk Chalk station.
