I love going to local breweries like Remedy Brewery Company, Covert Artisan Ales & Cellars, and WoodGrain Brewing Co. with my husband and puppy, Daisy. Sitting on a patio with a fruity sour is an amazing summer pastime of mine.

Maribella Ristorante is one of my favorite restaurants in Sioux Falls. The design is absolutely stunning, they treat their customers like family, and their wine is fantastic. The Nero is my favorite dish on the menu.
FRESH PICKS
A great way to spend my Saturday morning is at the Falls Park Farmers’ Market. I love picking out fresh flowers, produce, and meat. I always top off my visit with a coffee from Cherrybean Coffee Co.

La Luna Café has amazing lattes, and their food is always incredible. They have everything from burrito bowls to a Nutella Waffle. Nothing ever disappoints.

I enjoy having a night out at Crawford’s Bar and Grill, whether I sit at the bar enjoying an Epiphany Martini, indulge in a steak dinner with my family, or join my friends for an Espresso Martini and Créme Brulee.

One
My husband and I recently added a six-month- old Golden Retriever, Daisy, to our family. She’s such a sweetheart, and loves meeting new people and getting attention from everyone.
Two
I did an internship with Showplace Cabinetry in the summer of 2021 and absolutely fell in love with cabinetry and Showplace as a company. After graduating, I decided to come back and become a full time cabinet designer.
Three
I attended South Dakota State University for interior design, and in May of 2022 I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Four
My husband and I have been married for a year, and I will always remember our wedding day as the best day of my life. We had an absolute blast, and I loved every minute of it.
Five
From a very young age I have loved experiencing new architecture and design, so when I discovered that South Dakota State University had an interior design program, it made sense for me to pursue my passion. I’m very proud of myself for following my dreams and accomplishing my goals.

For an intimate night on the town, I recommend having a meal at Parker’s Bistro. Being seated in a little nook and having deep conversations with my husband over Wagyu is such a special way to spend a date night.

It’s always fun to try unique cocktails at Glacial Lakes Distillery on a Friday night. It’s relaxing to sit on their outdoor patio, listening to live bands with friends, and soaking up the summer air.
HOME AWAY FROM HOME
I grew up in rural South Dakota, so going to Wilde Prairie Winery in Brandon feels like a piece of home to me. Without having to drive too far outside of city limits, you can enjoy a wine tasting in a quaint, rustic barn.
HIDDEN GEM
I love finding little hole-in-the-wall restaurants in town, and Mama’s Ladas is one of the best. I love their chips and Fresh Guacamole, Beef Enchiladas, and fresh lemonade or sangria.
BEERS, BURGERS, & FRIES
JL Beers has my favorite burgers and fries in town. They also have a great selection of beers on tap. My husband and I love sitting at the bar, enjoying a great meal.
