BICYCLE TOUR OF THE BLACK HILLS
August 25th – August 31. Downtown, Rapid City. Beginning and ending the adventure in Rapid City, the bicyclists will visit the historic towns of Lead, Hot Springs, and Keystone, gateway to Mount Rushmore National Memorial, as well as Custer State Park. From breathtaking scenic vistas to rock-solid national memorials and state parks, on this trek the bicyclists will get to experience it all on this fantastic loop ride. STURGIS MUSTANG RALLY
August 27 – August 31. Sturgis. A week long Mustang Rally packed with racing, cruises, a car show and many other fun events. It’s not just a rally, its a destination spot. Take your Mustang to Sturgis, South Dakota for your next adventure. More info:Â sturgismustangrally.com
CHARITY OF CHOICE GOLF TOURNAMENT & SOCIAL
August 29. Prairie Green Golf Course, Sioux Falls. 11 a.m. The event will begin with a four-person scramble at Prairie Golf Course with registration & lunch. All players are also invited to be a part of the social that will be hosted at McNally’s Irish Pub immediately following the golf tournament. More info: facebook.com
GEORGE THOROGOOD AND THE DESTROYERS
August 31. Deadwood Mountain Grand, Deadwood. 8 p.m. Come rock out to “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer” with one of the most iconic bands in rock and roll history. The group is donating proceeds from their tour to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to help find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. More info: deadwoodmountaingrand.com
