Buffalo Ridge Brewing
“Revel in life” at the five-barrel brewery in Hartford. Co-owner Callie Tuschen says Buffalo Ridge Brewing is family friendly and pet friendly, and the crew is not only just brewing “beers for every palate,” but they’re also brewing up the next live event.
She said, “We have music often, we do bingo once a month, we have fitness classes that come in, and in the summertime we have a farmers’ market that’s right outside our door.”
Buffalo Ridge is located downtown in a modern 4,000-square-foot building, and is also owned by her husband (and head brewer), Chris, and Damon and Krystal Sehr.
“[We see] everything from families coming in for something to do to couples coming in on a date to a lot of business owners in the community,” said Callie. “We just like to have a good time and provide the space for people to come together.”
There are a variety of board games to play, and local art is displayed and is available for purchase. Callie says craft beer-wise they have everything from those who like a light beer to those who enjoy a double IPA.
“We take a lot of pride in what’s on our tap wall, so we like to know it’s phenomenal and not just good,” she said.
Wine is also available (like local option Wilde Prairie Winery), and there are alcohol free options like nitro-cold brew coffee and a draft root beer. Hungry? Grab munchies like “Buffalo” Curls, a Soft Pretzel Braid, Backyard Salsa and Chips, and more.
